Monday March 19

11am – Room check-in.

1pm – 5:30pm: REGISTRATION (Conference Center Lobby)

3pm – 5pm: PLEA Board Meeting (Spruce Room)

6pm – 7pm: Supper

7pm - Until: Opening Ceremony (John Byrd & Carl Nielsen), Presentation of Colors – NC State Parks Honor Guard, Guest Speakers. (Grove Room)

End of Opening Ceremony – 12pm: Hospitality Room (TBA)

 
Tuesday March 20

8am – 9am: Breakfast

9:30am – 12pm: “Sky Warn – National Weather Spotting” Chief Hugo McPhee, Lake Metro Parks, MN (Roost Room in Round Building) This class is eligible for certification.

9:30am – 12pm: “Conducting Proper Background Investigations” Capt. Steve Savidge, Delaware             State Park Rangers.(Grove Room)

12pm – 1:30pm: Lunch

1:30pm – 5:30pm: “Verbal Judo” Roger Miller, Instructor – North Carolina Justice Academy, (Grove Room)

1:30pm – 5:30pm: “GPS in Parks – Dealing with Encroachments and Missing Person Incidents” Chief Hugo McPhee, Lake Metro Parks, MN (Roost Room in Round Building)
